Former Chelsea midfielder Gustavo Poyet has advised young forward Noni Madueke to continue improving after the club’s recent lack of consistency.
The 22-year-old has impressed at the start of the season after being handed a chance by Enzo Maresca. But has struggled recently to find regular playing time. UFABET With Poyet suggesting that Madueke needs to stay humble and keep his head down if he is to reach his full potential.
“Noni Madueke is a player who always plays well in the first 30 minutes. But he is quiet for the rest of the game.” Poyet told BetVictor.
“He started the game impressively but sometimes his form deteriorated as the game went on. But he still created chances and influenced Chelsea’s play.”
“I don’t think there’s anything to worry about him. He shows confidence and he likes to go one-on-one with his opponents, and he’s created chances as we saw during the international break.”
“It’s about him continuing to develop and believing in himself. He has to make sure he stays humble and grounded, and continues to do what he does best. He can have a huge impact on the game when he’s at his best.”
Gus Poyet has issued a stern reminder to Noni Madueke and insisted the Chelsea forward must keep improving to avoid going ‘quiet’ in games.
